Entrepreneurs with Disabilities

At Community Futures we believe that managing ongoing health or disability issues should not be a barrier to business success. Since 1997 our Entrepreneurs with Disabilities Program (EDP) has made it easier for entrepreneurs with disabilities or ongoing health conditions to pursue their business goals by providing access to a network of business professionals and resources.  

Entrepreneurs With Disabilities Program (EDP)

Receive free business coaching for persons with disabilities. We have experts in place to help you with:

  • Business planning
  • Business strategy
  • Marketing and promotion
  • Human resources
  • Legal issues
  • Bookkeeping and accounting
  • Insurance
  • Access to business financing

Eligibility

  • Have a self-declared and/or assessed disability or ongoing health issue
  • Have a viable business idea and have demonstrated commitment through research, learning and planning
  • Be ready, willing and motivated to run your own business

Entrepreneurs on the Rise

Entrepreneurs on the Rise is a free program offered exclusively for women, those who identify as women, and non-binary individuals who have a self-identified disability or ongoing health issue. The program provides participants with living supports for up to 36 weeks of individualized coaching and online self-paced skills training in order to launch their business.

This program is offered in partnership with ETHOS Career Management Group.
